They need WebObjects 5.2 experience on Solaris. They have already interviewed candidates #3146 and #1693 and rejected them. Both good guys in my opinion. They were not sufficiently excited by #2250, #1825, #1648, #1643, #1590, #2980. #2980 was rejected because he had worked in France. Must be an obvious security risk. They have a lengthy security questionaire. They do drug tests. But they do pay at least $100K maybe even $110K less 10%. The job starts December 1st. They are getting really anxious to find the right person. Here is the rest of the descriptions. Responsibilities will include overall design, development, deployment, testing, and support of new and existing internal WebObjects systems (small to large scale/complex) To champion and bring into use "best programming practices" in the teams, including written plans, planned test processes, and version control of all code, makefiles, and documents. Create web services or three-tier Java server apps. Build database applications that have HTML, XML, SMIL or Swing (Java) interfaces. REQUIRES: B.S. Computer Science or equivalent required, minimum 10-15 years of direct experience in applications development. Minimum of 3 years of WebObjects development experience (prefer 5+ years) DESIRED: Acknowledged expert in hands-on Java programming and debugging. Acknowledged expert in software development on Unix. Acknowledged expert in all aspects of XML, including XSLT, DTD, SOAP, UDDI, and XML Schema. This position requires a goverment clearance-- to be eligible for clearance all candidates must be: US citizens.
